Barkeep draw me a pint
It's been a long cold ride through the storm
Bring some fire to thaw my bones
(And) (I'll need) a maiden (tonight) to keep me warm

My journey has taken me through peril and flight
I've danced with death countless times
But I have finally found what I've been searching for so long
And now the power shall soon be mine

I have seen the caves of ice and steel
I have felt what no mortal man should feel
I have been through hell and back again
But what the future will bring was/is worth the pain

Behold the Gem of Everlasting Light
You are right to bow in its presence
For it is the key to unlock the scribes
And the spirit of man will/shall be set free

This is the promise (they/He have/has) set (for us) (to achieve)
And with this knowledge we shall build the(ir)/our dream(s)
The human race will help the rest
To phase into the next seam

We shall/will live our lives until we are fulfilled
Where the imagination (shall/will) create(s) reality
Everything we want and need will be within our grasp
And we will finally reach/meet/achieve our destiny

You wonder why I am telling you (of) this now
Because we all need a little hope (to get us by)
Let's rejoice, to what shall be we drink
